Return Policy
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE HOLIDAY, ALL RETURNS OR EXCHANGES MUST BE POSTMARKED OR SHIPPED ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY 10/26/2007. ANY RETURNS SHIPPED BACK AFTER THIS DATE WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND. ANY COSTUMES RECEIVED OR ORDERED ON OR AFTER 10/26/2007 WILL BE CONSIDERED A FINAL SALE.
Costume variations:
Costume styles and colors are subject to variations by the manufactures. These variations are beyond our control. Most varitations are slight and some can be more noticable. We will update the site pictures and descriptions as soon as we are aware of these variations. If your costume has a variation from the picture or description as noted on the web-site, there is a good chance that the manufacture changed the production and exchanging the costume will not change the variation. If you are not satisfied with the costume variation, then you may return for a refund under our standard 14 day return policy.
Can I return my order?
Most items purchased from BestCostumeShop.com can be returned or exchanged under our 10 day return policy. Please view the list below for items that are non-returnable. Refunds will be for cost of merchandise only, not including shipping and handling.

Can I exchange my order?
We allow exchanges for a different costume or size under the same terms as our standard 10 day return policy. You must place a new order for the replacement item(s) and then follow the terms under our return policy for the items that need to be returned. This is to ensure the costume you require is in stock and availble at the time of the exchange. The replacement item will be processed as a new order and charged accordingly. Once the original item has been returned and received under the terms of our standard 14 day return policy, then we will credit your card for the original order. Refunds will be for cost of merchandise only, not inclduing shipping and handling.

Is there a problem with your order (wrong size, missing pieces, etc.)?
We are all human, and even BestCostumeShop.com and the manufactures make mistakes. If this is the case, we would like to appologize in advance. Please check your order as soon as it arrives and notify us as soon as possible at (800)825-1257 about the error. If there error was made by BestCostumeShop.com we will correct the error at no expense to you. We allow 7 days to notify us of any errors with your shipment, after 7 days, we will assume the order is correct. Once you find an error with your shipment, please do not wear the costume or open the package. Costumes that have been worn will not be exchanged or refunded for any reason. We will ship the replacement item via the best available method, and issue a return call tag for the incorrect item. We do not issue refunds or credit for express shipping.
Our Standard 10 day return policy:
Most items can be returned (see exceptions below) within 10 days from delivery date as noted by the shipping company. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and DO NOT INCLUDE original shipping and handling charges. It is your responsibilty to ship the items back to us via a tracable method, we are not responsible and will not issue refunds for any packages that are not delivered back to us. Please make sure all items are returned, any return received with missing items or without original packaging will not be credited. Costumes returned that have been worn or smell like cigarette smoke, alcohol, perfume, etc. will be refused, and no refund issued.
Please call us at (800)825-1257 during normal business hours to receive a RMA number. Once this number has been issued you must ship the package within 5 days, and arrive back to us within 14 days.
Once the item has been received by BestCostumeShop.com, we generally process refunds within 3 days. During Halloween season (October and November) this process may take up to 4 weeks.

Items that are NEVER returnable or exchangeable:
Undergarments of any type (tights, petticoats, bloomers, etc.)
Socks and stockings
Accessories
Wigs, beards, facial hair or any other artificial hair
Masks or Helmets
Any item that has been worn, used or altered in any way – no exceptions
Special orders Restocking fees:
BestCostumeShop.com does not charge a restocking fee for most returned items. The only time a restocking fee will be assessed is when five or more items from the same order are subsequently returned. In this case a 20% restocking fee, plus the cost of shipping will apply.
